It was a slower pace of life in those days, when the design of a golf course was the priority rather than packing in the apartments on the edge of every fairway. El Paraiso Golf Course lies in the valley in the foothills of the Sierra Bermaja mountains. The fairways bordered by heavy rough include meandering streams and fauna such as oleander, jacaranda, and mimosas. The clubhouse is situated in the middle of the golf course and calls the 6th hole its ''Signature hole'' which has a dogleg left par 5 and needs the drive to avoid two bunkers on both sides and also a lake in the second shot.
