The Links Course Opened in 1990 and designed by Peter Ellis and Clive Clark. The topography of the land, made of Alcaidesa gentle slopes that descend to the sea, ending in a beautiful beach, creates a front of nearly 2 km. Most of the holes are close to the beach. It has a 18-hole course that begins and ends at the new clubhouse. The difficulty of the course lies mainly in the condition of the prevailing winds of the place. One of the peculiarities of the field that most impresses the visitors, is its spectacular view over the Mediterranean, Gibraltar and Africa. Total length is 5866 m

We love this golf course. Now, with already finished houses constraction, the golf experience is back to high view the sea and "rock" view. Quality, pace and service was also good. worth of money.

Unfortunately the Links has a problem with wild boar at the moment and parts of the course look scruffy where they have been digging. It is mainly marked as GUR. Just doesn’t look good .
Tee Times reply: Golf Course La Hacienda have informed us that they are currently dealing with a serious issue caused by wild boars entering certain areas of the course and damaging the fescue grass. Fortunately, the sandy soil areas such as greens and fairways have not been affected.
The course management has already requested assistance from the local authorities and expects to have this situation resolved soon.

Really nice course and views. Have a big problem at the moment with, I assume, wild boar around the greens - really are a mess on most holes.

First time playing this course and this is a beauty.
Views were amazing, course in great shape, great start to our golfing holiday.
Would like to play the heathland course as well next time but if this is anything to go by then I will not be disappointed.

An extraordinary ride up and down the hills, with probably the world's best half way house. Don't be fooled by the first couple of holes, which are good but play along the flat before you descend. Some truly memorable holes with The Rock of Gibraltar always visible. Great experience - we played in 30-40kmh winds which made it even more fun.
