All these are just some of the characteristics that describe Costa Ballena Ocean Golf Club. A magnificent design from José Olazabal testing players from all levels, be it scratch handicaps or beginners. The golf course is flat with slight undulations with some holes directly on the coast with strategically placed bunkers and lakes dotted around the golf course. Par 72 6063meters from the yellow tees and 5155meters from the red tees.
Costa Ballena replaced the greens into Bermuda grass to be more sustainable and respectafull for the environment with less water and herbicides.
The clubhouse offers a gym, sauna and Jacuzzi, all of which are free to use after a game.

Course nothing spectecular , perfect for golf schools.Not transparent their teetime filosofy. We were booked on 01/03/2024 at 12,10 h . We prefer to arrive early to do all preparations.We asked , if we could tee off earlier and if possible only as twosome.Friendly but decisive , not possible , court is fully booked.So we came to Tee 1 at 11.35 h and nobody there , we could not even see , the flight , which has already left.Then we waited until 12.10 h 35 minutes and nobody showed up , until a second couple arrived to mplay with us at 12.10 h.We have the impression , also experience with other teetimes this week and last week ( 3 times ) that they do not like you to play only twosome.
