El Rompido South Golf Course is part of a wonderful golf resort located in the province of Huelva, Andalusia. The golf course, which can be easily played on foot, offers spacious greens with subtle lines. The combination of tropical grass and winter grass gives the fairways a comfortable and pleasant feel. El Rompido South is a very technical golf course with an enormous diversity of dog legs taking good advantage of the contours of the terrain itself and the local flora, with no two holes being the same.
The front nine are in a higher area, and the second nine are played around the saltmarsh, a protected area closer to the sea and where there is a strong sea breeze. The presence of pine trees and water obstacles all over the course require precise ball placement. El Rompido has a good score card with essential information for any golfer, a not very large but well-equipped club house and a restaurant overlooking the 18th green with an attractive interior terrace. Good fleet of buggies and trolleys at affordable prices. Attentive and friendly service.
Tee Times Golf Agency , can only recommend this fantastic golf course and propose the best deals on green fees at El Rompido golf course. A pearl hidden in the province of Huelva.

We preferred this to the North course. There are some very challenging holes and there is more water. As with the North course, the South course is well-maintained but also suffers damage from wild boars. We started on 10th tee, just before a large group, and the players in front of us finished on hole18. That meant that our back 9 (holes 1-9) were traffic-free. We preferred our experience to that on the North course.

Eigentlich ein rect schöner Platz, doch durch die oft zu nassen Bermuda Gras stellen 30 bis 50 Meter vor dem Grün, für uns ( hcp 18 bis 24) nicht gut zu spielen . Besonders die back nine sind interessant

Lovely course- very slow round but in good condition despite the storms of the previous week. Bunkers were GUR, due to severe rainfall previously

Course was poorly presented compared to previous visits, when it has been excellent.

Second time playing this after a days break. Enjoyed it again, a bit of knowledge definitely helped, so a bit of pre planning for the trickier holes might pay off if it's your first time here.

A good course. I walked and other than 17 to 18 tees are close to greens. You need to avoid the water and marsh areas to keep the score going. The 14th is scary if you have tendency to hit the ball right. My advice don't be too ambitious. Enjoy the views and wildlife.

Good facilities and a course that will test your game and make you play every shot in the bag to get around.
