La Sella Golf Course

La Sella sits at the foot of the Montgó Natural Park near Denia, a José María Olazábal design that began life in 1991 and grew, under his own supervision, into the largest course on the Costa Blanca: twenty-seven holes across three distinct nine-hole loops, each named after a local wind.

Llebeig runs south through dense pine forest with the Montgó mountain a constant backdrop, and is widely rated the most technically demanding of the three. Gregal heads east across flatter ground, where water hazards multiply and the closing holes tend to decide the round. Mestral climbs north, its elevated position opening up genuine sea views. Combine any two loops and you have a different eighteen-hole round every time you play, which is exactly the idea: La Sella rewards repeat visits precisely because it never repeats itself. The course has hosted the Ladies European Tour and the Spanish Female Championship, and holds both ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 certification.
