Real Sotogrande Golf
Real Sotogrande Golf course is often voted to be among the top ten golf courses in Europe - and rightly so. Holes 7 and 12 have special relevance, as are considered two of the best holes in the World by GOLF MAGAZINE's publishers. It is the first golf course designed by Robert Trent Jones in Europe.''Sotogrande Old'', as it is called by the locals, boasts mature vegetation with pine, cork oaks, eucalyptus and giant palm trees enhancing the natural beauty of the surroundings.The first professional event to be played after Sotogrande's inauguration was the 1966 Spanish Open won by Roberto de Vicenzo with 279 strokes; the clubhouse winner boards show Severiano Ballesteros made the same score twenty-one years later to win the Spanish PGA Championship.

Excellent course. The only thing not as we expected was the totally absence of indications on the course. No picture of the hole, no indication for the nex tee, nothing at all!

We enjoyed the course ,unfortunately they are doing a lot of work on the path ways ,which detracts from the experience,but also appreciate that it needs to be done .
