Arabella Son Muntaner Golf Course was designed by Kurt Rossknecht and opened in 2000, the flagship of the three courses at Arabella Golf Mallorca. It's the only course in the Balearic Islands to belong to the exclusive European Tour Destinations network, and was named Spain's Best Golf Course at the 2025 World Golf Awards. Set between the Serra de Na Burguesa and the Bay of Palma, the par-72 layout combines wide, generous fairways with more than 70 bunkers and water hazards that reward precision over aggression. The course's best-known feature sits near the par-5 15th: ''Na Capitana,'' an olive tree estimated at over 1,000 years old and protected as a natural monument, one of the oldest known trees on Mallorca. Son Muntaner has hosted the Mallorca Golf Open on the DP World Tour and the Mallorca Ladies Golf Open on the Ladies European Tour, and its greens were fully reseeded with Bermuda Celebration turf in 2016. Arabella Son Vida Golf Course Palma de Mallorca, Balearic Islands
Arabella Son Vida is Mallorca's oldest golf course, designed by F.W. Hawtree in 1964 and redesigned by Kurt Rossknecht in 2001. Set within the Son Vida estate above Palma, it has hosted European Tour events including the Balearic Open in 1990 and 1994, and is currently ranked among the top ten courses in the Balearic Islands. Tree-lined fairways run through classic parkland, with the Bay of Palma and the Tramuntana mountains framing the round throughout. The par-5 6th is the hole players remember first, its tee offering a panorama that takes in Palma Cathedral and the bay below. The dogleg par-4 14th and the water-guarded par-5 18th close out the round as the course's two toughest tests, small lakes coming into play at several points along the way.
