Font del Llop Golf Course
Font del Llop sits inland from Alicante among the hills and vineyards of Monforte del Cid, a setting that shapes the whole round rather than just framing it. Blake Stirling and Marco Martín designed the course, which opened in 2010, blending an American layout with Scottish-style shaping across a valley of gentle elevation change.
Five lakes, threaded together by a small river, come into play throughout the round, and five tee options on every hole let the course flex from forgiving to genuinely demanding depending on where you start. It is a technical test that asks golfers to use every club in the bag, with doglegs and well-placed bunkers rewarding careful course management over raw power. The views back across the valley to the surrounding mountains are part of the reward for getting it right.
A driving range, short-game area and clubhouse restaurant sit close to the first tee, making it easy to arrive early and warm up properly. Book Font del Llop for a genuinely technical round set against one of the Costa Blanca's better inland valleys.

We have played at Font Del Llop several times and the course is as expected., in decently good condition and definitely great value for money. One surprise was that the restaurant was closed when we finished the round. A cold beer would have been great.

Really enjoyed our round today. A very interesting course that requires strategic thinking during the round. Lots of elevation changes and fantastic views of the mountains.
Course in excellent condition with very good greens.
The practice facilities were very good which included a driving range and short practice area near the clubhouse.
The lady at check in was friendly and professional.
Great clubhouse with nice food and excellent service.

A nice course to play, about 30 mins away from Alicante town. Spectacular views of the mountains. The staff were not as friendly as the other courses we played at, and the starter made us join up with another 2 ball to speed up play. The round still took 5 1/2 hours. That was a shame, as we were looking to play a friendly game of texas scramble, but had to revert to matchplay.
