La Cañada Golf Club
The La Cañada Golf Course is a fitting tribute to the people of Guadiaro who became golf addicts overnight with the emergence of Sotogrande. In the early days of the golf course, La Cañada just had 9 holes, and some years later it was added a second course designed by David Thomas. The full length Trent Jones course is located in the hills adjacent to Valderrama and is open to some wind.

Also it is not the "best" golf course by design and quality, we like it, and come back regularly for the price/perfomance. This year some of the greens were not in a good shape but overall - its worth to come back - to get golf practice restart.

We have just had to abandon our buggy and carry our clubs in from the 16th fairway as it has run out of battery! Not impressed.
