Pollensa Golf Course

Pollensa Golf Course was designed by José Gancedo and opened in 1986, then redesigned in 2000 by Michael Pinner of the Nicklaus Design Group. Set on the Ca'n Porquer estate at the edge of Pollença, it's the northernmost golf course on Mallorca.

The nine-hole, par-35 layout is short but genuinely hilly, with undulating fairways lined by olive and pine trees and two lakes worked into the round. Two of the longest individual holes on the island sit here, the par-5 5th chief among them: a long, narrow, tree-lined hole doglegging up to a two-tiered green defended by a pair of bunkers. Views stretch out to the Tramuntana mountains, the bays of Pollença and Alcúdia, and the S'Albufereta nature reserve, making this as much a scenic outing as a golfing one. The course is irrigated entirely with treated water.

Facilities include a driving range, golf academy, locker rooms and a putting green. Book your round at Mallorca's northernmost course, ideal for a relaxed nine holes or a warm-up before a longer day of golf.
