Son Parc Menorca Golf Course was designed by Dave Thomas, a former Ryder Cup player also behind San Roque and The Belfry's Brabazon course. It opened with 9 holes in 1977, the maximum allowed under planning rules in what remains a protected conservation area, before extending to 14 holes in 2003 and the full 18 in August 2006. It's the only golf course on Menorca.
The layout runs narrow and largely flat through pine woods bordering the award-winning Son Parc beach, with a protected wetland alive with birdlife along one edge and views out to Monte Toro, the island's highest point. The par-3 8th is the standout, its tee shot carrying a lake to reach the green. A flock of peacocks living near the 3rd green has become one of the course's better-known quirks. Notably, the course draws no fresh water at all: irrigation runs entirely on rainwater and treated water.
Facilities include a driving range, golf academy, locker rooms and a putting green. Book your round at Menorca's only golf course, a genuinely relaxed and picturesque test by the sea.

Played this course twice in our two weeks holiday this July.
We found the whole booking process smooth and efficient with Teetimes.
The course was well kept and a most enjoyable experience, the staff in the "pro-shop" were very polite and helpful. Our package of 18 holes, rented clubs and a buggy, although not cheap, was good value for money, particularly when compared to Algarve prices that we paid last September.
Would we go back? Yes we would. Would we recommend it as a good "holiday" golf venue? Yes we would. Our only negative comments would be in regard to the bunkers, mostly compacted sand and need a very different type of shop to exit them.
Over all, don't be a snob and give Son Parc a go.
