Golf Costa Teguise
Costa Teguise Golf Course was designed by British architect John Harris and opened in 1978, the first golf course built on Lanzarote. It sits at the foot of an extinct volcano within the Costa Teguise resort, with more than 3,500 palm trees lining the fairways and the Atlantic Ocean in view throughout the round.
The par-72 layout favours variety over brute length, with numerous doglegs asking players to work every club in the bag. Volcanic picón sand and Lanzarote's near-constant trade winds add an extra layer of difficulty even on the shorter holes. A 2007–2008 restoration recovered parts of the original routing and brought disused tees back into play, and the course has held up well since: greens are consistently rated fast and true, even where the fairways show the wear you'd expect on a course this established.
Facilities include a 300-metre driving range, a putting green, a chipping green with bunkers, and a dedicated practice hole. We have had 2 lovely days playing Golf Costa Teguise. Very friendly and helpful staff. A tricky course where you need to keep the ball on the fairway. Course was in good condition and we would return to play again.

Excellent service from pro shop booking in .Greens good ,fairways and waste ground not great, we were glad we ordered hire clubs for the week playing here. Could be a fantastic course as layout and some very nice and challenging holes.

Perfekte letzte Runde ! Die Grüns waren wieder in allerbester Qualität! Die Fairways ansprechend! Das Design des Platzes ist sehr abwechslungsreich! Die Lavalandschaft sollte man meiden!! Betreuungsbedarf haben die Bunker! Restaurant ist ok, besonders die Preise! Im Sekretariat ist man höflich, korrekt!

Had a fantastic time at Costa Teguise Golf. Spoke with the locals and they felt it had been neglected and were quite annoyed. There were a few bare patches around but not due to lack of hydration, apparently the green staff are over watering the fairways!! The greens were a little sandy in places but the ball ran true and there was a fast pace to them so no complaints from our party, on the contrary we thought the course played fantastic and will book again next year through Teetimes.pt.

Really unique golf course, decent layout, good condition and the greens were unbelievable, very fast and true. Loved the scenery. Very friendly staff in shop and bar/restaurant. Food was great too.

Nice course, reasonably well kept. Greens actually not too bad mostly. Much more playable than the other course on the Island. Extremely high winds when I played, so premium on accuracy.
